- Emperor penguin conservation status. Earlier copy said the emperor penguin was listed as Endangered on the IUCN Red List. That was incorrect. The page now describes observed breeding failures and links directly to the British Antarctic Survey without misstating the listing.
- Fellowship scope. Earlier pages described the Fellowship principally as recognition for polar researchers and communicators. The program is an annual $1,000 grant for graduate research in climate change and global conservation. The Fellowship and research-support pages now reflect the actual program.
- Ocean acidification figure. An animated homepage statistic claimed a 40% rise in ocean acidity. It was first replaced with an older NOAA estimate of about 30%. The site now uses NOAA’s current synthesis: the ocean has become about 26% more acidic on average over the past 250 years, with the source and measurement context attached.
- Territorial language. Earlier copy called three Antarctic features the Count’s “territories.” The site now states that the dignities correspond to real places but convey no ownership, jurisdiction, or sovereignty.
